New York, NY — L'Forma is proud to announce the completion of its specialty finish scope for Banana Republic's flagship store in Manhattan's SoHo–Cast Iron Historic District. A two-story, 17,000-square-foot retail destination, the project called for hand-applied decorative finishes worthy of one of the neighborhood's landmark commercial spaces.
Working in collaboration with Sargenti Architects, L'Forma delivered 9,000 square feet of Venetian plaster across both floors, along with 3,500 square feet of limewash — bringing warmth, depth, and a refined, historically sympathetic character to the interior. The finishes were self-performed by L'Forma's specialty plaster team over a two-month schedule, meeting the exacting standards of both the brand and the landmark district.
The scope reflects L'Forma's signature approach: pairing artisan craft with the discipline of a full construction team. Every surface was hand-troweled and burnished to achieve the seamless, light-catching quality that distinguishes true Venetian plaster from conventional wall finishes.
